Are there any changes in ownership, which would not result in a reappraisal?

Yes. There are several. Most of these are changes in the way title is held without changing the amount of interest each individual owner holds. For more information on these situations please contact this office.

There is also a Parent to Child exclusion. This exclusion also works when the transfer is from child to parent. This exclusion cannot be given without the proper and complete application. This exclusion is often referred to as a family exclusion, however, the only other family member that could qualify under this exclusion is Grandparents. The grandparent portion of this exclusion is also fairly restrictive. I would encourage anyone who feels they might qualify to contact this office for information.
